Kirsten is a warm, empathetic, and practical Clinical Psychologist who combines evidence-based practice with a collaborative, solution-focused approach. She works with adults and couples to help them navigate life’s challenges, gain insight into their experiences, and develop skills that improve wellbeing and quality of life. Kirsten has extensive experience supporting clients with mood and anxiety disorders, perfectionism, personality disorders, stress, and difficulties with emotion regulation. She is committed to tailoring therapy to each person’s needs, drawing from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema-informed Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Alongside her clinical work, Kirsten is actively engaged in the academic field, teaching in psychology programs at the University of New South Wales and supervising both provisional and registered psychologists. This dual role allows her to remain at the forefront of psychological research and practice, ensuring her clients benefit from the most up-to-date, effective interventions.

Get to know Kirsten
Kirsten’s journey into psychology began during her studies in Biochemistry at the University of Sydney, where her interest in the mind and behaviour soon became her primary focus. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours and a combined PhD/Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of New South Wales.
Her career has spanned diverse clinical settings, including university clinics, child and family community health services, and hospital outpatient units. She is currently expanding her specialist skills with training in Emotion-Focused Therapy and working effectively with neurodivergence.
Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys activities that recharge and inspire her, including hiking, reading, and exploring new places. She values balance, connection, and curiosity — qualities she also brings into her therapeutic work.
Kirsten is registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
Availability
Kirsten is available Mondays and Thursdays including Early Mornings and Online Sessions.
