Ms Olivia Brown - Registrar

Olivia has completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney. She is a warm and empathic psychologist who collaborates with clients to ensure treatment is tailored to their specific needs and goals. Olivia creates an open and safe space where individuals feel empowered to overcome barriers and improve their overall wellbeing. She has an interest for helping adult clients with a variety of presentations including depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, chronic pain, obsessive-compulsive disorders and trauma.

Get to know Olivia

Olivia enjoys remaining active by playing netball, going for long bush walks and attempting to ski. She loves indulging in delicious food with family and friends and when feeling brave, enjoys horror movies and crime documentaries. 

Prior to joining Equilibrium, Olivia worked in community and outpatient settings, including a multidisciplinary pain management clinic. She utilises a number of evidence-based modalities for treatment, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy.

Olivia completed a Bachelor of Psychology with honours at Macquarie University and a Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology Sydney. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Olivia is registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)

What is a Registrar?

A Registrar is a Psychologist who has completed 6 years of university training and 2 years practical experience. Subsequent to this each Registrar has to complete 2 years of supervised professional work in order to become a fully registered Clinical Psychologist. Olivia taking these 2 years at Equilibrium.

She will charge $175 - Weekdays 9am - 5pm & $190 Monday to Friday, before 9am, after 5pm or on Saturdays. A Medicare rebate of $87.45 will apply with a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.

Availability

Olivia is available Tuesdays, Thursdays and alternate Saturdays, including After Hours and Online Sessions.
