Get to know Natasha

 

Outside her work as a Clinical Psychology Registrar, Natasha enjoys reading a good book, attempting to cook (with varying levels of success), and unwinding with a good documentary – particularly true crime.

Natasha has worked across a range of clinical settings, including university clinics, private practice, and hospital and community-based services. Through these roles, she has supported individuals experiencing anxiety and mood disorders, trauma-related difficulties, emotion regulation challenges, and concerns related to self-esteem, identity and life transitions.

 

Natasha draws on several evidence-based therapeutic approaches and most commonly works from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and Motivational Intervieiwng. She takes a collaborative, compassionate approach to therapy and aims to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Natasha is a registered Psychologist with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

What is a Registrar?

A Registrar is a Psychologist who has completed 6 years of university training and 2 years practical experience. Subsequent to this each Registrar has to have a supervisor for 2 years in order to become a fully registered Clinical Psychologist. Natasha is taking these 2 years at Equilibrium.


Availability

Natasha is Wednesdays and Fridays including After Hours, and Online Sessions.
